Anyone that has met Alex has seen his huge smile. He loves to help others. He takes care of the elderly. He likes big things (big house, big car). He loves to ride horses. He loves animals. And children love to be around him. He has a goal to see every state in America. So far we've been able to hit 18 of them!
So much of his childhood sucked. Really sucked. Our problems pale in comparison. But on the days that he puts his guard down and allows us to see his heart, on man, I cherish those days!
Right now he is in Ukraine. He's been gone for 3 and a half weeks. He has a ticket to come home 3 and a half weeks from now. We miss him like crazy. We worry about him. We pray he is safe. We don't know if he will get on the plane in December to come home. We pray he does. If he doesn't, we will still love him. No matter where he goes, he has the love of 2 parents that wish they had more than 2 years with him.
